Games today look more beautiful than ever before, but for some reason, it’s only when the modders get ahold of already pretty games that we seem to get the closest to real life.
Take the recent release of Toddyhancer mod, by Reddit user Toddyftw, which takes the latest iteration of Grand Theft Auto and turns the fidelity up to 11. With changes to the color pallet, shaders and tone mapping, they’ve made the game look even more stunning than it already did. And much more realistic too.
Imagine combining this with a VR mod to make the game playable in a Rift headset? Something tells us that’s likely about the most realistic virtual reality experience available now.
