A new update to Microsoft Flight Simulator cuts the amount of disk space the game takes up in half.
The update released by Microsoft and developer Asobo makes the total file size of the game about 83 GB. Previously, the game took up around 170 GB of disk space.
When the game is installed now, it will still require 150 GB of disk space on the computer, but in the end, only about 83 GB will be used. Furthermore, the update also fixes some bugs and adjustments are made to various aircraft.
Microsoft Flight Simulator is available on PC and Game Pass. The game should also come to Xbox Series X and S later this year.
